AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The spokesman of the Yemen's General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Dr. Mazen Ghanim, said that hundreds of Yemenis have died abroad while waiting to return to Yemen as a result of the continued closure of Sanaa International Airport.
Thousands of Yemeni citizens abroad wanted to return home to live and visit their families, Ghanim added.
"The Arab and Islamic peoples are to celebrate on a great religious occasion, Eid al-Fitr while three million Yemenis are far away from their families and relatives because of the siege of Sanaa International Airport by the US-Saudi aggression."
He called on the international community and the Security Council to break their silence about the aggression, blockade and displacement of Yemeni people by the coalition of aggression.
Ghanim pointed out that there are also thousands of patients who lost their lives as a result of the closure of Sanaa International Airport, pointing out that the deaths are increasing day after day.
