Imam Ali a model and example for Judgment and Fair Trials - Sayyid Al-Raeisi

AhlulBayt News Agency - “Imam Ali (A) is a model and example of fair judgment and trials for all periods of history of mankind” Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said at a meeting with judicial officials of Khorasan Razavi Province.
Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi at this meeting while expressing his condolences on the days of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (A) and commemorating the memory of the innocent martyr Ayatollah Dr. Beheshti and martyrs of the 27nt of June 1981 and the Judiciary Week, introduced the judiciary and justice of Imam Ali (A) as the criteria and model for judges, and reiterated,“The judges’ contribution in promoting national security is undeniable.”
“The righteous judges are like the rocks of stability and peace of the society, which remove the social anxiety and promote the national security” he added.
Public Trust, a Fundamental Pillar of National Security
“Judges’ performance should be in a way which people feel the security under the rule of a righteous judiciary, and the realization of this important issue is certainly going to be followed up by more satisfaction of the society from the sacred Islamic system and trust in the effectiveness of the systems arising from that” member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary enunciated, considering taking actions proportional to the crime and issuing orders on time, very effective in reducing crimes.
“Some countries derive their legitimacy from armies and military power, some from wealth, and some others from the political connections; however, the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran derives from the trust and devotion of the public, and this trust, which the judges have a unique role in its upholding, is the capital and great support of the Islamic Republic” he said, mentioning the public trust as one of the fundamental pillars of national security and the support of the Islamic Republic.
“Working in the judiciary requires a special ability; the judiciary is a place where people not only should resist against external pressures, but also they should stand against their inner spite and hatred and judge fairly” former Attorney General reiterated, pointing to the hardships and difficulties of the judiciary.
Prerequisites for Utilizing the Cyberspace
“If the cyberspace is not controlled and managed, it will bring serious consequences for the country and our families. Definitely, utilizing the cyberspace and new communication tools are essential; however, they need to be controlled, and the mechanism for them also needs to be determined” Sayyid al-Raeisi noted at the final part of his speech, pointing to the importance of managing cyberspace and mentioning that the effects of the cultural invasion is obvious in many lawsuits.
“Management and control of cyberspace is not unique to our country.Many countries of the world manage and monitor their cyberspace seriously, and it is not surveillance free”Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi uttered.
At the beginning of this meeting, Ali Mozaffari, Director General of the Justice Department of Khorasan Razavi Province,presented a report on the performance of his respective department in 2015, and with reference to the role of the judiciary in making a healthy society noted, “All the efforts and actions taken in Justice Department of Khorasan Razavi Province had been in order to provide better services to the clients.
At the end, the judicial officials of Khorasan Razavi Province performed their evening and night prayers, led by Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Sayyid al-Raeisi, and broke their fasts with him at Razavi munificence banquet.
