(AhlulBayt News Agency) - An Iranian diplomat criticized UAE foreign minister anti-Iranian remarks and said certain states are provoking sectarianism and extremism in the Islamic World.
Speaking to Iran News Agency on condition of anonymity on Friday evening, the Iranian diplomat said that certain regional states are provoking sectarianism and extremism in the Islamic World in favor of the Zionist regime.
These countries’ support for terrorist and extremist groups is the cause of Islamophobia in the world, he added.
The ongoing terrorism in the region has roots in Wahhabism which is supported by Saudi rulers, the official noted.
He voiced hope that UAE would take a logical approach and give up attacking Yemen and killing the country’s innocent civilians.
United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in a twitter message recently, accused Iran of supporting terrorism.
