(AhlulBayt News Agency) - 219 Jewish settlers, including security and military personnel, desecrated the Aqsa Mosque's courtyards last week.
According to a report released by Quds Press, 204 settlers and 15 military and security individuals toured the Mosque's courtyards during the period between 21 and 25 August.
The Aqsa Mosque's Maghariba Gate, which has been under Israeli control since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, is open before Jewish settlers throughout the week, except on Fridays and Saturdays.
The settlers' tours at the Mosque take place in the morning and afternoon under police protection, and they leave through al-Silsila Gate.
During their presence at the holy site, some settlers embark on performing rituals, singing or dancing provocatively, without any respect for the Islamic sanctity of the place.
