IMAMIA STUDENTS ORGANISATION CONDEMNS VIOLENCE IN UNIVERSITIES

The spokesman of Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) Naseem Karbalai has condemned violence in universities and called for promotion of academic activities in alma maters instead of violent clashes and attacks as occurred in Punjab University.
Talking to the media in Lahore, he said, Punjab government and law enforcement agencies must expose the culprits involved in violence in Punjab University and award them exemplary punishment to discourage the trend of violence in the alma maters.
He urged the students to reject these forces of violence and intolerance and focus on their educational activities. He said students need to introduce the culture of tolerance and debate and dialogue on critical issues and intellectualism while dealing with the critical issues.
Naseem Karbalai also condemned the murder of a principal of a private college in Sahbqadar, Charsadda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
