MWM BACKS PTI CANDIDATE IN BY-ELECTION TO SINDH ASSEMBLY FROM KARACHI PS-94

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen announced its support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s electoral contest for PS-94 by election after the PTI delegation met MWM Karachi leaders at Wahdat House.
The PTI delegation led by its MPA Khurram Sher Zaman comprised of the contestant Ashraf Qureshi, MPA Abbas Jafari, Nawaz Khan and Adnan Ismail. They held talks with Karachi-based political secretary of MWM Sindh, Allama Sadiq Jafari, Allama Mubashir, Allama Ali Anwar Jafari, Mir Taqi Zafar, Ali Nasir al Hussaini, Ahsan Abbas and Sajjad Sumairi.
Khurram Sher Zaman and his comrades thanked MWM and its leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari for their support to PTI. They said MWM is a representative party of Pakistan’s Shia Muslims enjoying huge public support and it always stood with mainstream parties and demonstrated steadfastness on vital national issues with bold stance.
Standing next to PTI leader, MWM’s Ali Hussain Naqvi told the media that the two parties had identical views on making Pakistan a welfare state according to ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal and both are against corruption, extremism, fanaticism, obscurantism and terrorism.
Therefore, he said, it is logical to support the party that is near to the ideology of his party (MWM).
