SHAIKH HASSAN JOHARI RELEASED ON BAIL, PEOPLE HUGELY WELCOME HIM

Renowned religious scholar and Gilgit-Baltistan Youth Alliance founder Shaikh Hassan Johari was release on bail. Hundreds of thousands of people thronged the street from jail to Yadgar Chowk to receive him in Skardu.
He was showered with rose petals throughout the route. Notables wore him garlands of flowers.
Speaking to people on the occasion, he said he was proud to have been arrested due to national struggle for legitimate rights of people. He said that he was arrested from Yadgar Chowk.
He vowed to continue rights struggle and would not bow tow negative tactics and pressure.
Shaikh Johari is a cardiac patient hence he had to be shifted to hospital for treatment. However, people had set yesterday deadline for his release lest they warned of expanded protest movement against the government.
