Arba'een ritual is a colorful presence of nationalities, ethnicities, and various religious sects irrespective of age, gender and social class, said Hoj. Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi at a ceremony in Mashhad to pay tribute to the Arba'een activists and owners of service stations.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Arba'een ritual is a colorful presence of nationalities, ethnicities, and various religious sects irrespective of age, gender and social class, said Hoj. Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi at a ceremony in Mashhad to pay tribute to the Arba'een activists and owners of service stations.
"Today, loyalty to Imam Hussein (AS) means rising a resistance against despotic rulers of the time and Global Arrogance on one hand, and manifesting Muslim solidarity and accord on the other hand," he said.
Hoj. Marvi further said that Imam Hussein (AS) sacrificed his life for what has been expressed in Arba'een prayer that says "And he sacrificed his blood in Your cause to save Your creatures from ignorance, indecision and confusion."
He added: "This sentence clarifies well the movement led by Imam Hussein (AS) and supported by his true companions."
According to him, affection toward the Infallible Imams (AS) is the key to proximity to God and a means of gaining His pleasure. "Arba'een glorious march is a manifestation of the public affection toward the Infallible Imams (AS). In Arba'een, distinction between the hosts and guests fades away and all of them become guests to Imam Hussein (AS)."
The chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi highlighted another manifestation of Arba'een as the culmination of the will to fight in the cause of God and Islam, saying: "Thanks to Ashura and Imam Hussein's movement, the culture of martyrdom and anti-oppression sentiments is gaining momentum across the globe."
Elsewhere, he introduced Arba'een as a media to pay attention to Islamic leadership and guardianship. "This is why the Global Arrogance is uneasy with this mighty movement. The Western media magnify an insignificant incident in Muslim countries as an instance of insecurity and massacre but ignore million-man Arba'een march by Muslims from various races and nationalities." He assured, however, that their efforts in understating Arba'een march will be futile.
Pointing to Arba'een's capacity to unite Muslims, Hoj. Marvi stated that the enemies of Islam are afraid of Muslim unity, so they do their best to sow the seeds of discord among Muslims. "The enemies of Islam are well aware of the fact that the power of the world of Islam and the unity of Muslims as a result of abiding by the teachings of Islam, the Prophet (pbuh) and Nahjul Balagha will block any chance for infiltration of Global Arrogance in Muslim countries."
Expressing his thanks to the Iraqi people and officials on behalf of the Leader, Iranian nation and government for their hospitality during the Arba'een march, Hoj. Marvi attributed the success of this religious rally to such a warm welcome.
To put an end to his remarks, AQR chief custodian said: "We are expecting martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), for which we have made preparations to host millions of pilgrims. We will do our best to host Iranian and foreign pilgrims deservedly."
