AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's plan for its private sector and industrial and technical enterprises is to be a part of Syrian reconstruction, said the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry in his weekly press conference on Monday.
'Iran has had an important role in fighting terrorism in Syria and will participate in the country's reconstruction as well,' said Bahram Qassemi.
He also hoped that the conditions will be prepared soon for Iranian private sector to start work in Syria.
Regarding US' role in Syria, Qassemi said, 'Washington's interfered in Syria without Damascus permission, which is contrary to the international laws.'
He also urged the US not to interfere in Syria, and added, 'As far as we know US' expansionist policies, it will take steps to destabilize Syria and help the terrorists that have been mostly defeated.'
Answering a question about Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif's message on Iran's readiness to cooperate with Saudi Arabia, he said, 'Iran's policies regarding its neighbors are crystal clear and have been repeatedly announced.'
He added that provided the conditions are met, cooperation can have an important role in restoring peace and stabilizing the region.
