Astan Quds Razavi gives first priority to relief works in flood-stricken areas

In tandem with people, NGOs, relief organizations, government bodies, as well as army and IRGC forces, Astan Quds Razavi has dispatched technical teams to the flood-stricken areas for urgent relief works.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In tandem with people, NGOs, relief organizations, government bodies, as well as army and IRGC forces, Astan Quds Razavi has dispatched technical teams to the flood-stricken areas for urgent relief works.
According to Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, the aid and relief works will continue until people are helped to return to their normal life.
The relief works offered by the AQR include supplying hot meals, drinking water, meat, blankets, canned food, rice, spaghetti, medicines, as well as providing accommodations, heating devices, establishing makeshift bakeries, dispatching dredging machinery, and cleaning operations.
Also according to Hamed Sadeqi, a senior official at Astan Quds Razavi, over 300 specialized relief and rescue teams have been dispatched to the flood-hit areas. “In the meantime, cultural services are rendered to children in the relief camps.”
All these operations in the provinces of Golestan, Mazandaran, North Khorasan, Lorestan and Ilam, according to Seyyed Reza Fatemi, the deputy chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, are being closely monitored via video conference in the presence of senior managers and heads of the Astan Quds Razavi offices in the affected provinces.
“The affected people will be offered aids and accommodations through public donations and Astan Quds Razavi’s internal resources,” Fatemi further noted.
Astan Quds Razavi has also dispatched heavy-duty machinery to the affected areas.
Announcing the above in an interview, Dr. Mahmoud Eydi, the managing director of Beton and Machine Construction Co., affiliated to Astan Quds Razavi, said the company has dispatched heavy-duty machinery and a number of its technical staff for relief works at the flood-hit areas.
Also Yara Teb Samen, affiliated to Astan Quds Razavi, has distributed essential medicines such as tablets and syrups, dialysis solutions, various types of serums, injection products, etc. among the flood-hit people.
