FORMER UNDER-19 HOCKEY PLAYER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY RANGERS

The personnel of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) have taken an under-19 hockey player into undeclared custody from his house in Karachi early on Monday morning.
Family members said that Syed Ali Mehdi alias Salman was taken away by the Rangers cops at around 4 a.m. on Monday (today).
His family has appealed to the Director General Pakistan Ranger (Sindh) to release Ali Mehdi alias Salman forthwith because he is an innocent youth and had never remained involved in criminal activities.
They said that Ali Mehdi is a sportsman and he has played under-19 hockey championship.
