MWM LEADER ASKS PTI GOVT TO CORRECT FOREIGN POLICY DIRECTION

A delegation of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) led by its secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari called on Federal Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Basheer Cheema whom they congratulated over taking charge as minister.
During his conversation with the minister, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari emphasised on the need to correct the direction of Pakistan’s internal, external and economic policies.
“Pakistan must maintain relations with friendly countries but that ties must be based on equality,” he said, noting that Pakistan is a nuclear Muslim state and it is the only country that binds 5 billion people together.
He said that world peace and stability is linked with Pakistan’s security and there is a need to keep plotters away from Pakistan.
Allama Raja Nasir said that former government had created many problems for the MWM after its protest movment and that policy need to be ended forthwith. He said that the SOP devised by the previous government regarding Azadari should be amended.
He urged the minister that those Shia mosques and Imam Bargahs fall in the jurisdiction of his ministry should not be subjected to hurdles and problems.
“God willing, the country will overcome crisis with the sincere efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he asserted.
MWM leader said that his party always played positive role in the country’s politics and all patriot forces should work together to make Pakistan stable and prosperous.
