GREAT MARTYR ALLAMA AGHA SYED ZIAUDDIN RIZVI REMEMBERED ON ANNIVERSARY

A huge public meeting was held at Nagral Imam Bargah in Gilgit on the martyrdom anniversary of great Shia Islamic leader of Gilgit-Baltistan Allama Agha Syed Ziauddin Rizvi where Allama Syed Rahat Hussain al Hussaini and Allama Shaikh Mirza Ali spoke.
They highlighted the salient features of the life of great leader Allama Rizvi and highlighted his struggle for legitimate rights of the oppressed people of the region.
Allama Agha Rahat Hussaini said that Allama Ziauddin Rizvi put stiff resistance to those oppressors who had been usurping the legitimate rights of people and when those conspirators and oppressors failed to gag him through threats and all negative tactics, they finally got him assassinated.
However, Agha Rahat urged the people that we all should raise voice against the oppressors and support the oppressed people like Agha Rizvi did and this is the way to defeat the forces of oppression.
Islami Tehreek Pakistan G-B general secretary Allama Shaikh Mirza Ali said that great martyr Agha Ziauddin had been struggling to attain the constitutional rights for people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Participants prayed for the departed soul of the Martyr leader and renewed their pledge to continue to follow his mission.
