A group of Sunni elders from the Qadiri Tariqa (Sufi order) paid a visit to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of Sunni elders from the Qadiri Tariqa (Sufi order) paid a visit to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
The group, comprising eight Sunni elders from the Sufi order in Iraq and Urmia, West Azerbaijan province, also visited the Holy Quran and Carpet Museum of Astan Quds Razavi, after enjoying the grace of pilgrimage.
Participation in the congregational prayers and religious ceremonies in the holy shrine, as well as reading the blessed prayers of Imam Reza (AS), were the other programs the Sunni elders observed.
During their visit to Mashhad, the group also met with the head of the International Affairs Center and the executive director of Astan Quds Razavi's Islamic Research Foundation.
Sunni elders had been invited to Mashhad by the Astan Quds Razavi Center for International Affairs in the form of a pilgrimage caravan to the shrine.
