AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli forces detained at least four Palestinians, including a journalist, across the occupied West Bank on predawn Wednesday.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from the central West Bank district of Ramallah; they were identified as Adham Subhi al-Rimawi and Muhammad Mahmoud Khatib.
In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, two Palestinians were detained; one of the detainees was identified by PPS as director of the local "Hawa Nablus" radio station and reporter for the al-Quds news, Muhammad Anwar Muna. Israeli forces detained him after raiding his home in the Zawata neighborhood.
Muna had previously spent many years in administrative detention by Israel. He is also the fifth Palestinian journalist to be detained this week; four other Palestinian journalists working for al-Quds TV were detained on Monday during raids of their homes in Ramallah.
This brings the total number of Palestinian journalists held by Israel to 30, according to the Prisoners' Affairs Committee.
The second detainee was identified as Anwar Taleb Sanallah.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided Asira al-Qibliya, Sabastiya, and Salim villages in the Nablus district.
Israeli raids into Palestinian towns and villages are near daily occurrence in the West Bank and East Jerusalem al-Quds.
