Seven Palestinian journalists among injured in Gaza protests

The Journalist Support Committee in Palestine denounced the intentional targeting of Palestinian journalists and reporters along the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip by Israeli forces.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Journalist Support Committee in Palestine denounced the intentional targeting of Palestinian journalists and reporters along the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip by Israeli forces.
The Coordinator of the Committee in Palestine, Saleh al-Masri, confirmed that Israeli forces carried out a number of violations against journalists and reporters, who were covering Saturday’s events during "The Great March of Return" protests.
Al-Masri also pointed out that all of the journalists and reporters complied with all safety standards set by Israel, yet Israeli soldiers targeted them.
Al-Masri said that seven Palestinian journalists, including a woman, were targeted and injured by Israeli forces.
Al-Masri identified them as Muhammad Abu Hay and Muhammad Balour, who were shot and injured with rubber-coated steel bullets. Meanwhile, Alaa al-Namle, Abdullah Izzara.
Muhammad Qundil, Dalia al-Khuwali, and Alaa al-Darbi sustained injuries from tear-gas cannisters.
Four Palestinians were killed and at least 207 others were injured by Israeli forces during the protests commemorating Land Day and the return marches along the eastern borders of Gaza.
